It was born on April 5, 1881
Louise Amélie MELANSON died in 1971 in Lorient. My wife still remembers it and the moments spent on the knees of same
MELANSON.
She had married on April 27, 1901, in Lorient, Auguste, Jean, Francois, BROSSARD.
It gave him 2 beautiful children with who they gave the first names of Amélie and Jean
who is my maternal grandfather. Itself had 4 children of which the mother
of my wife, and 2 boys of which one married with Quebecoise
and screw in Montreal since many years; and the other which joined it
a few years ago. Our oldest son, also has immigrant in Quebec to him,
here are now 2 years 1/2 and Quebec attends.
I discovered that in Acadie, at the moment when the ancestor of Louise arrived at
Royal Port, that it was a family BROSSARD there. Who knows!
Perhaps an ancestor of the husband of Louise! Know .....
The father of Louise:
Jean, Alexis MELANSON.
It was born on September 4, 1850 in Lorient.
He married with Louise the CORROLER, in Lorient.
He was accountant in the national marine.
The father of Jean, Alexis :
Etienne, Raymond MELANSON.
It was born on April 20, 1821 in Concarneau
He married with Jeanne the NASSUER, in
Ploemeur
It was main district gunner of 1st class in the navy deceased
on May 2, 1855 at the 34 years age, board the Jean Bart.
His/her Alexis son was only 5 years old. He had another boy,
older Pierre, Vincent, born in 1818 in Concarneau.
The father of 'Etienne, Raymond :
Pierre, François MELANSON.
It was born on April 6, 1781 in Concarneau.
He married with Joséphine BELLOWS, in Concarneau.
They had another boy, older, Jean Louis, who was born in 1785 in Concarneau.
Pierre, François was sailor.
It is deceased on July 28, 1846 with Concarneau.
The father of Pierre, François :

Jean-Baptiste MELANSON
It was born on September 14, 1752 with the River with Ducks, New Scottia.
It arrived at Belle-Ile at sea, between on
September 22 and on October 18
with his/her parents, its 6 sisters and her brother, and Jean MELANSON
who widowed, was accompanied by his François son as well as his girl,Marie, Magdeleine which was married with Charles GAUTROT.
Arrived into same in the same period, 77 other families
who were divided in the 4 parishes of the Island.
The family of Jean-Baptiste was installed on the parish of Locmaria,
to the place “Cosquet says”.
Here the composition of its family:
. Marie-Joseph, born on January 28, 1746 with the River with ducks, Acadie
. Marguerite, born on April 22, 1748 with Saint Joseph, Acadie
. Jean-Baptiste, born on September 14, 1752, with the River in Ducks, Acadie

(deceased in the Island Tudy, Finistere, Brittany, France)

was Jean Baptiste

I will tell you on another page, the adventure which they lived between the great deportation of 1755, of which they formed part and their arrival in Belle-Ile; if I find information where if one
of you give some to me.
Jean-Baptiste was 13 years old when it arrived at Belle-Ile. His/her father is unfortunately deceased the following year. Who dealt with this big family? Perhaps Jean MELANSON, who was
widowed! .....
Jean-Baptiste, adult left on Concarneau, in Finistere, to Brittany,
He married on January 14, 1784 in this same city, with Anne LE BEAU
It had another boy, Pierre, Vincent, Joseph who would have been born in 1818 in Concarneau.
Apparently, it lost his wife after the birth of Pierre, François (that remains to be checked)
It was remarié with Michelle VIDAL, giving him several children.
He would have been captain of the national guards with Concarneau. It is certainly thanks to him
that his/her sister, Marie-madeleine MELANSON married with a guard national, Jean-Pierre Petit, undoubtedly met with Concarneau, since it there married in June 1790,3 years after the birth of
Pierre Francois, the son of Jean-Baptiste.
I also found a baptismal certificate of Marie, Yvonne MELANSON, girl of Joseph MELANSON (the brother of Jean-Baptiste) and of Marie Jacquette BONNETIS. Apparently the family would have partly
gathered on Concarneau.
Jean Baptiste is deceased in Concarneau, at the 51 years age, the 8 fructidor of year 11 (26/08/1803)
TESTS between the year 1755 and the year 1766
Between the moment when the family of Pierre MELANSON was off-set and their arrival in Belle-Ile at sea, at the end of 2006, it ran out 11 long years; 8 last in the wearing of Southampton and 3
in Saint Malo who is my birthplace, where still all my family resides. I benefit the passage from it to say that my mom is a young lady CHAPPEDELAINE. Still a known name in Canada and more
particularly in QUEBEC. If one adds the name of young girl of the girl of Louise MELANSON (name of wife of Louise), BROSSARD, that done much name in our family which brings us closer to
Canada, Quebec and Acadie.
I invite you to read the page devoted to the Great deportation and arrival on Belle-Ile Mer.
